Abstract
We prove the global existence and uniqueness of wave maps on expanding univ erses of dimension three or four, that is Robertson-Walker spacetimes whose inverse radius is integrable with respect to the cosmic time. A result is obtained for small initial data by using the first and second energy estima tes.
