Abstract
The results of numerical analysis of dissipative localized structures ("dis sitons") in a single-mode waveguide with nonlinear gain and absorption are presented. An allowance is made for the finite relaxation times in the acti ve and passive media and the finite width of the spectral profiles of absor ption and gain. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
