Disorders affecting the peripheral vestibular system commonly involve the p
eripheral auditory system causing hearing loss. There are a number of disor
ders, however, that selectively involve the peripheral vestibular system ca

ilial vestibulopathy, and bilateral idiopathic vestibulopathy. This article
reviews these disorders and their diagnosis and management.
