Abstract
Abdominal masses in children are uncommon, Ovarian neoplasms are uncommon i n young children and adolescents, and typically are benign. Small cell carc inoma of the ovary is an extremely rare condition, with a very poor prognos is. We report the case of a 15-year-old female who presented to the emergen cy department with abdominal distention, abnormal vaginal bleeding, and con stipation secondary to a large intra-abdominal mass, ultimately diagnosed a s ovarian small cell carcinoma.
