Jp. Clemens et Pr. Rice, Nonclassical effects of a driven atoms-cavity system in the presence of anarbitrary driving field and dephasing - art. no. 063810, PHYS REV A, 6106(6), 2000, pp. 3810
We investigate the photon statistics of light transmitted from a driven opt
ical cavity containing one or two atoms interacting with a single mode of t
he cavity field. We treat arbitrary driving fields with emphasis on departu
re from previous weak field results. In addition effects of dephasing due t
o atomic transit through the cavity mode are included using two different m
odels. We find that both models show the nonclassical correlations are quit
e sensitive to dephasing. The effect of multiple atoms on the system dynami
cs is investigated by placing two atoms in the cavity mode at different pos
itions, therefore having different coupling strengths.
