Abstract
It is shown that the electrostatic attraction between two likely charged pl ane plates in a plasma can appear due to the formation of "holes" in the ph ase space of the electrons or ions. The possibility of extending the theory of this effect to the three-dimensional case of a plasma with point dust g rains is discussed. (C) 2000 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
