Validity in program evaluation: A comparative approach. Begining from a con
ceptual analysis of program evaluation validity, this paper introduces a co
mparative study of implications and interrrelationships of different statis
tical techniques in order to enhance validity in program evaluation. Genera
lizability theory, hierarquical linear analysis and structural equation mod
eling are applied to an evaluation of a training program of administrative
staff in University of Sevilla.
