This essay intends to evaluate the emotional behavioral disorders shown by
students attending a Secondary School by using the Youth Self Report (YSR).
Women show a different internal pathology and men a more external one. Bes
ides it focuses on how this kind of pathology has an influence on performan
ce at school, measured by the school marks given by teachers at the end of
the school year. It was found that the external pathology is directly relat
ed to the number of students who fail, which could explain why male student
s fail more subjects than female ones and, among, girls, why the aggressive
ones fail more than those who aren't so.
