Abstract
Coprecipitation of Np(V) with Cr(III) hydroxide in the range from pH 9.3 to 10 M OH- was studied radiometrically from the gamma-activity of Np-237 and beta-activity of Np-239. The decontamination factors of the solutions reac h 10-100 in 0.02-2 M NaOH. The efficiency of coprecipitation from ammonia a nd concentrated alkaline solutions is fairly low.
