Abstract
A technique is proposed for an electrochemical study of the morphology of p orous anodic aluminum oxide films. The technique involves an analysis of an odic polarization curves recorded while linearly increasing potential. A ph enomenological model describing the experimental curves is developed. The m ethod may be used for studying the film formation kinetics.
