Abstract
Al-27 and Li-7 Knight shifts have been measured for a series of freshl y prepared Li/Al alloys. The phase diagram implies that three phases s hould be accessible for the compositions (up to 6% Li) considered and it is shown that, particularly in the Al-27 spectra, three Knight-shif ted resonances are observable for several compositions. It is suggeste d that these might correspond to the three phases (alpha, delta, delta '). The resonance believed to be associated with the delta' phase is s ensitive to the lithium content, but changes discontinuously when prec ipitation of the cubic delta phase (LiAl) occurs.
