Abstract
Starting from (S)-aspartic acid, a versatile approach to (S)-1-benzyl-3-p-t oluenesulfonylamino-2, 5 -pyrrolidinedione, (S)-1-benzyl-4-p-toluenesulfony lamino-2-pyrrolidinone and (S)-1-benzyl-3-p-toluenesulfonylaminopyrrolidine is described.
