Abstract
A solid phase method for the synthesis of glutamic acid derivatives based o n the chemoselective ring opening of N-Boc pyroglutamic-Wang resin by heter onucleophiles is described. It allows the preparation of a large number of amides and esters of glutamic acid in a simple procedure with moderate to g ood yields and excellent purity. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
