Abstract
Two new hydrogen periodate hydrates, CuH3IO6. 2H(2)O and Ag2H3IO6. H2O, wer e synthesized and identified by quantitative analysis, DTA, TG, DSC and IR spectra. Based upon data from DTA and DSC curves, a thermal decomposition s cheme has been proposed. The lattice parameters of CuH3IO6. 2H(2)O were obt ained. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
