Abstract
The application of a novel model catalyst is demonstrated in this work. In this catalyst, oxide particles of simple geometric shape are used as a cata lyst support. The simple geometry facilitates observations of the dispersed phase by transmission electron microscopy. We present our results on the e ffect of support and pretreatment on metal particle morphology and reactivi ty.
