Abstract
A partial analysis of the stream-aquifer interaction problem at steady stat e for a semi-infinite unconfined aquifer was presented by Bear (1979). This analysis was restricted to the case of influent boundary condition where t he water flux is directed from the boundary into the aquifer. Here, we exte nd the analysis to provide analytical solutions for both influent and efflu ent conditions. Comparisons with numerical solutions are also presented for further validation.
