Abstract
Nanotechnology, or miniaturization of components, is a technological area w
hich has gained high interest and further development worldwide, due to the
benefits envisioned from its application and products. In this sense, a st
udy of technology intelligence on the matter was performed in order to obta
in information on its qualities, characteristics, applications, users and t
endencies. Also, potential areas of application in our organization are rev
iewed.
