J. Zhang et al., Characterization of difatty acid diamminoplatinum and effects of magnetic field on their anticancer activity, ACT CHIM S, 58(6), 2000, pp. 704-712
This paper presents the results of the research using FT-IR NMR and element
ary analysis to investigate the physics-chemical properties and structures
of difatty acid diamminoplatinum. The results of elementary analysis show t
hat the theoretical value tallies with the experimental one. The FT-IR spec
troscopy shows the presence of the functional groups that are supposed to b
e present in the structure. In the experiment, human hematopoietic cell K-5
62, human melanoma cell LiBr, and human cancer cell of the liver 7721 were
used as the external model. The influence of the magnetic field on the micr
ocosmic structure of human tumour cell membrane was studied by the techniqu
e of scanning electron microscope (SEM). The effecting of difatty acid diam
minoplatinum on cell damaged was determined by means of MTT test. The exper
imental results show that the cell damaging effect has a direct bearing on
the concentration with the length of hydrocarbon chain. The influence of ma
gnetic field on the interaction between difatty acid diamminoplatinum and h
uman tumor cells show that the cell damaging effects are closely related wi
th the magnetic field intensity.
