Abstract
Lymphocytic colitis and collagenous colitis are clinicopathologic entities that are distinct from other forms of inflammatory bowel disease. However, some of their histologic features may be seen in other forms of colitis. Ad herence to the diagnostic clinicopathologic criteria for lymphocytic and co llagenous colitis will help separate them from other forms of inflammatory bowel disease.
