Abstract
Of >1,000 asymptomatic apparently healthy subjects, only 1 patient exhibite d typical coved ST-segment elevation of the Brugada syndrome and had an ind ucible polymorphic ventricular tachycardia. Sixty other subjects had saddle back ST-segment elevation but had no syncopes or sudden cardiac death durin g follow-up (49 +/- 30 months).
