Abstract
Effects of gibberellic acid (GA(3)) on growth, leaf pigments, Na+ and K+ co ntents of wheat seedlings (Triticum aestivum cv. Kanchan) grown under salin e and non saline conditions was studied. GA(3) increased seedling growth, d ry weights and K+ content and reduced the inhibitory effect of salinity str ess on growth, leaf pigments and Na+ contents in both root and shoot of the seedlings.
