Abstract
A research done in the field of chemically modified electrodes (CMEs) withi n the last years is reviewed (208 references). Results obtained in our labo ratory are related to those reported by other authors. Main areas are the t heory and application of CMEs to the trace metal determination and speciati on, electrocatalysis and mediated biocatalysis, utilization of polymer film s as well as molecular recognition by DNA.
