Abstract
The computational granularity is a key factor in determining the suitabilit y of a parallel model for an efficient implementation of complex codes on c oncurrent processor architectures. The paper discusses these aspects with r eference to various theoretical approaches to reactive scattering and to th e scale up of related calculations. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
