Abstract
A four-node dynamically reconfigurable optical network, using integrated ad d/drop devices, is demonstrated. Aggregate capacity or 1.6Tbit/s (40 x 40Gb it/s), spectral efficiency of 0.4bit/s/Hz, Q values > 18dB and wide toleran ce to wavelength misalignment are key results.
