Abstract
This is a case report of a patient suffering from subcalcaneal pain syndrom e due to plantar fasciitis that was resistant to non surgical treatment. Af ter endoscopic partial release of the plantar fascia the patient was pain f ree for several weeks, before he became symptomatic again. This new pain wa s located more proximally. An MRI study showed a stress reaction of the cal caneus.
