Synthesis of beta-Ga2O3 nanorods

beta-Ga2O3 nanorods with diameters of 10-60 nm were synthesized through a s imple gas reaction method and were characterized by X-ray powder diffractio n (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), selected area electron diffrac tion (SAED) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). T he SEM image showed that most of the nanorods were straight. XRD, SAED and HRTEM indicated that the nanorods were monoclinic Ga2O3 single crystals. (C ) 2000 Published by Elsevier Science S.A.
