Abstract
Equations for a system of coupled oscillators that take into account the in ertial self-excitation of each oscillator and delay in the oscillator feedb ack and coupling are set up. Numerical. analysis is carried out for the dyn amics of two or three coupled oscillators as well as a single oscillator. I t testifies that coupled oscillators can produce chaos more easily. The num erical results are verified by a microwave experiment on the three configur ations of a transistor multioscillator circuit. It is demonstrated that thr ee coupled oscillators can give noiselike wideband signals in the microwave region.
