Abstract
Experimental characteristics of hydrogen sulfide, nitric oxide, and sulphur dioxide in the high-frequency part of the millimeter-wave band are present ed. The possibility of using active or semiactive radars for the remote mon itoring of atmospheric gas composition and for detection of emergency atmos pheric emissions of pollution gases is considered.
