The influence of B content on magnetic as well as structural properties of
amorphous and nanocrystalline Fe92-xNb7Cu1Bx (x = 8, 9, 12 at%) alloys was
studied. Initial susceptibility chi measurements were done in order to inve
stigate the influence of the nanocrystallization on soft magnetic propertie
s of the given alloys. The temperature dependence of chi was measured up to
600 degrees C for amorphous and nanocrystalline samples. The dependence of
the initial susceptibility of the nanocrystalline samples on the B concent
ration shows magnetic softening. The crystallization effects were studied b
y means of the temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity. (C) 20
