T. Kulik et M. Kopcewicz, Effect of quenching rate on magnetic properties and local magnetic anisotropy in Fe78Si9B13 glass, J MAGN MAGN, 215, 2000, pp. 455-458
The coercive field H-c, remanence B-r and orientation of the local magnetiz
ation were investigated in as-quenched Fe78Si9B13 amorphous ribbons of vari
ous thickness (12-35 mm) and width (2-18 mm). The thickest and narrowest ri
bbons (cast with minimal quenching rate QR) exhibit the lowest H-c, highest
B-r and random orientation of spins. Spin alignment in a ribbon plane is f
avored for the ribbons produced with higher QR. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B
