Abstract
This paper describes the construction and method of preparation of the ring -shaped composite cores which were made from Metglas 2605 TCA and Fe73.5Cu1 Nb3Si13.5B9 (Finemet) nanocrystalline ribbons. Two types of construction of composite cores were used in the investigation carried out, the first havi ng parallel and the second having coaxial arrangement of the component core s. Moreover, the study of the magnetisation process was made for these core s at different frequencies of a magnetising field. (C) 2000 Elsevier Scienc e B.V. All rights reserved.
