The influence of electron beam irradiation on the fluorocarbon rubber vulca
nizates at varying levels of the curative-hexamethylene diamine carbamate i
s reported. A higher crosslinking density, reduced elongation at break, inc
reased modulus (both static and dynamic), decreased loss tangent value at T
-g and increased glass transition temperature have been observed for the ir
radiated rubbers, as compared to the control rubber. The results are explai
