Abstract
We describe the use of endosseous implants in the autogenous particulate ca ncellous bone and marrow grafted alveoli after orthognathic surgery for den tal rehabilitation of patients with cleft lip and palate. This procedure ha s been applied to two patients and produced good results functionally and a esthetically. The results are encouraging and indicate that implant placeme nt after orthognathic surgery is useful for patients both with congenital m issing teeth and retrognathic maxillae.
