K. Cwikiel et al., Investigations of the reduced polarization of triglycine sulphate (TGS) inan electric field perpendicular to the ferroelectric axis, J PHYS-COND, 12(23), 2000, pp. 5033-5041
A considerable reduction in the remanent polarization was observed during h
ysteresis loop measurements on TGS samples previously placed in a constant
electric field E-perpendicular to not parallel to the ferroelectric axis b.
The quasi-stable states of the crystals obtained by means of the applicati
on of the field E-perpendicular to were destroyed by prolonged application
of an alternating electric field parallel to the b-axis and by annealing ab
ove the critical temperature.
