Abstract
A computer program for X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) data acquisition , called XAS-Collect, is described. The software employs the X Windows syst em to provide a pull-down menu, dialog-box style of graphical user interfac e. The software provides state-of-the-art features while still being suffic iently simple for novice users.
