Synthesis and antibacterial activity of s-triazoles, s-triazolo[3,4-b]-1,3,4-thiadiazines and s-triazolo[3,4-b]-1,3,4-thiadiazoles of 5-methylisoxazole

The condensation of 4-amino-5-mercapto-3-(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl)-1,2,4-tria zole with substituted phenacyl bromide, aldehydes, p-bromophenylisothiocyan ate, aromatic carboxylic acids and oxalic acid, is described. The antibacte rial activity of representative compounds was evaluated.
