The wettability and porosity of plastified poly(vinylchloride) (PVC) films
were enhanced by a combination of two methods, respectively, by chemical gr
afting of hydrophilic additives and corona discharge treatment. Modificatio
ns of the surface morphology and surface energy are proved by scanning elec
tron microscope images and contact angle measurements. It was found a bette
r wettability and porosity of the plastified PVC films and a functionalizat
