Abstract
The substitution of asbestos with nonasbestos fiber-reinforced materials in some industrial plants has caused corrosion problems in flanges and valves . A novel corrosion apparatus, the Corrosion Quantification Test, quantifie s corrosion and gives preliminary results of tests on flexible graphite-bas ed gasket products.
