Va. Maksakov et al., THE REARRANGEMENT OF THE UNCOORDINATED ALLYL FRAGMENT OF THE CARBOXAMIDE LIGAND IN (MU-H)OS-3(CO)(10)(MU-OCNHCH2CH=CH2) CLUSTER, Journal of organometallic chemistry, 532(1-2), 1997, pp. 11-15
The rearrangement of the uncoordinated allyl fragment of the complex c
arboxamide ligand in (mu-H)Os-3(CO)(10)(mu-OCNHCH2 CH = CH2) (1) at ro
om temperature has been observed. A migration of the terminal double b
ond to the alpha-position in 1 leads to the formation of four novel is
omeric clusters (mu-H)Os-3(CO)(10)(mu-OCNHCH = CHCH3) (2a-d). Based on
IR and H-1 NMR data, a conclusion has been made that the formation of
isomers is attributed to the rotation of the ligand about the C = C a
nd N = C(O) bonds.
