Abstract
To track and characterize the temporal dynamics of functional interdependen ce among cortical areas, we developed an adaptive multivariate autoregressi ve (AMVAR) modeling approach to the analysis of multichannel event-related local field potentials (LFPs) in macaque monkeys. We demonstrate the effect iveness of the approach by showing event-related dynamic change of power, c oherence and directed transfer functions derived from the AMVAR models duri ng a cognitive task.
