Abstract
NTT Communicationware Corporation (NTT Comware) has developed a Linux-based middleware that can be used as the platform for a diverse range of mission -critical business applications including telecommunications and financial systems. This article presents the comparative test results of the performa nce of the UNIX version and the newly developed Linux version of the middle ware. Future development plans for the Linux version of middleware are also discussed.
