T. Pisarczyk et al., Investigation of dynamic and stability of laser-produced plasma in strong external magnetic field, OPT APPL, 30(1), 2000, pp. 41-59
The paper presents results of studies of the behaviour of a laser-produced
plasma in strong external axial and transverse magnetic field of 5-20 T in
induction generated from a flat tenon target at the laser power densities o
f about 10(14) W cm(-2). The investigations were carried on by means of a t
hree-frame interferometry and a non-contact magnetic probe, so-called remot
e magnetic probe (RMP). The dynamics of the process of creation of the diam
agnetic cavity, its shape and dimensions have been determined. Also compute
r simulation of plasma expansion by 2D MHD code was made.
