Abstract
1-Substituted 2-(benzothiazolyl-2-thiomethyl)-Delta(2)-imidazolines with th eir structure confirmed by IR and H-1 NMR spectroscopy were synthesized in search for promising additives to lubricating oils. The synthesized compoun ds as well as 2-substituted 1-(benzothiazolyl-2)-Delta(2)-imidazolines were shown to exhibit high effectiveness as anticorrosive, antiwear, antiscuff, and antioxidizing additives to mineral lubricating oils.
