Abstract
For the first time singularity structure analysis is carried out on the vec tor form of the coupled Landau-Lifshitz equations that govern the spin dyna mics in an isotropic spin ladder and also on the equivalent curvature-torsi on equations obtained through space curve mapping procedure. Also static sp in configurations in the form of linear spin waves and localized travelling waves in the form of solitary waves are obtained. (C) 2000 Elsevier Scienc e B.V. All rights reserved.
