F. Starrost et al., Cetineites: Electronic, optical, and conduction properties of nanoporous chalcogenoantimonates, PHYS REV B, 61(23), 2000, pp. 15697-15706
The electronic, optical, and conduction properties of the cetineites, a new
ly discovered class of crystalline nanoporous materials, have been calculat
ed within a full-potential framework using the augmented Fourier components
technique in combination with the extended linear augmented plane-wave k.p
method. Photoemission, optical, and conductivity measurements have been pe
rformed and the calculated results are in conclusive agreement with all ava
ilable experimental data. This helps in understanding the semiconducting na
ture of the cetineites, which is an exceptional property for nanoporous cry
stals.
