Abstract
Measurements of the spectrum of Jupiter and the radio source Sgr B2 in the 1404.49-MHz line for the superfine transition (G'G'-GF) = 3/2, 5/ 2-1/2, 3/2 of the molecular ion H-2(+) are observed at the 4 sigma lev el. Various models that could lead to a significant abundance of H-2() are discussed. Expected brightness temperatures are estimated.
