The influence of hydrostatic pressure on the mobility of the electrons
in HgSe:Fe crystals in the low-temperature region is investigated the
oretically. The pressure dependences of the contributions of the scatt
ering on the correlated system of Fe3+ ions, the alloy potential, and
the randomly distributed ions to the electron mobility are analyzed. T
he variation of the degree of spatial ordering of the Fe3+ ions as the
pressure increases is considered. (C) 1997 American Institute of Phys
