Q. Hu et al., Determination of daunorubicin in human urine by capillary zone electrophoresis with amperometric detection, ANALYT CHIM, 416(1), 2000, pp. 15-19
A simple, reliable and reproducible method, based on capillary zone electro
phoresis with amperometric detection, for the determination of daunorubicin
in human urine is described in this paper. A carbon disk electrode used as
working electrode. The optimal conditions of separation and detection were
pH 7.8 phosphate buffer (0.15 mol/l), 8 kV for the separation voltage and
0.95 V (versus Ag/AgCl, 3 mol/l KCl) for the detection potential. The linea
r range was from 2x10(-6) to 2x10(-4) mol/l with the regression coefficient
of 0.9995, and the detection limit was 8 x 10(-7) mol/l. The method built
in this paper was directly applied to the determination of daunorubicin in
the imitation human urine without any other sample pre-treatment except fil
tration, and the assay result was satisfactory. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B
