Abstract
The paper- deals with a formation of solid solutions inside the equilibrium phase assemblage C-C2S-C(4)A(3) (S) over bar-C(4)AF-C (S) over bar of the Bride system CaO-SiO2-Al2O3-Fe2O3-SO3. The content of minor oxides incorpor ated in individual phases, was generally lower in comparison with data given in the literature. C2S and C (S) over bar phases form more homogeneous cry stals with regard to their chemical composition than C(4)A(3)(S) over bar a nd the ferrite phase. From practical consideration the stoichiometry of the ferrite phase in the given phase assemblage can be appropriately represent ed by a composition corresponding to C(6)AF(2).
