Photolysis of H2Te in CO or 1% CO/Ar matrices at ca. 10 K results in the fo
rmation of carbonyl telluride; the assignment of the nu(CO) modes of OCTe (
1965.3 cm(-1)), (OCTe)-C-13 (1920.0 cm(-1)) and (OCTe)-O-18 (1921.3 cm(-1))
in neat CO matrices is confirmed by DFT calculations.
